Jupiter Inlet, Hobe Sound & Juno Beach

Capt. Colin Hickey
January 22, 2008
Jupiter - Saltwater Fishing Report

Offshore

Before the seas turned up and wind began to blow the sailfish bite lit up. Look for many sails migrating south from northern areas such as Fort Pierce. The passing cold front should move them more south anywhere from Jupiter to the Keys.

The conditions seem the bite should continue. Winds out of the east in the beginning of the week, then a shift to the west before the weekend. Seas will seem to cooperate for those willing to get out in a 3 to 5 or 4 to 6 foot seas.

Up until next week (28th) temps will be cold at night and warmer during the day. Expect Kingfish Dolphin and Sails. The Kingfish action has supposedly been thick in the 100ft range.

Tight Lines and Good Luck,

C. Hickey
