Jupiter - Saltwater Fishing Report

Fishing for sailfish has been fantastic with this NE wind we have had all week. We have been seeing multiple release trips all week. Most of our bites have come kite fishing live goggle eye or blue runners. We have caught a couple of fish trolling as well. Watching a sailfish strike a kite bait never gets old. Some are peckers, some inhale and start jumping instantly. Free spooling to the ones that play around is a must! There have also been dolphin around the areas where we are catching sails. All of the action has been between 150 and 300 feet of water. There have been some monster amber jacks around. I'm talking 30-60 pound beefcakes. If you want a bicep work out go to the ledge, and drop down a small blue runner or goggle eye to get hooked up on one. These guys fight just like a tuna. Mutton fishing has been excellent. We are catching a few every time when targeting these awesome eating fish. We still have a couple of open dates in January.
