Key Biscayne - Saltwater Fishing Report

As usual the Mahi Mahi have showed up, Late but alot of schools of small undersize fish have invaded the 900 to 1100 ft depth range. With the small Mahi Mahi comes the Blue Marlin,
a little later than last year but finally they have arrived.
I have heard of several just this week, the latest was Jon Cooper on the Charter Boat Diversion who released ALIVE a fish estimated at 200 pounds. He caught the fish off miami in 1000 ft on a trolled Bally Hoo near the schools of small mahi.
We have caught several fish in the 30 pound range this week but it is tough catching the bigger fish with so many schools of small fish pushing through. The Bigger fish are moving south and the small fish to the north. so if you see birds moving south get ready.
On the edge there are some small black fins, bonito, and an occasional Sailfish.
Key Biscayne Fishing Forecast:

Should get better, watch out for Blues as long as the small fish are around.
Target Species:

Miami Florida, hunting for Dolphin, Mahi
