Key Biscayne - Saltwater Fishing Report

WRAP UP
This summer Dolphin season has been incredible to say the least. We have encountered Dolphin on almost every trip and reaching our limit on most trips. Just as we believe the season is slowing down it picks back up. Business has slowed as you can tell I'm writing a report, lol. Honestly there has been no time to stop this entire summer. But as we slow down the fishing has not. Only fishing 4 days a week right now but still getting dolphin and some small tunas and a wahoo.
If your going on your own, the fish have been in around 1150 ft around grass and on floaters. As of yesterday the fish are mostly in the 4 to 8 pound range which is slightly larger than last month.
Watch for birds and Hawks, floaters and rips. They all hold fish right now.
If your on the edge their have been some sailfish and kingfish. The kings have been in the range of 4 to 12 pounds with an big fish every now and then.
Key Biscayne Fishing Forecast:

Hopefully the fishing continues, I think it will for at least another couple of weeks, maybe more with the debris that will be coming out of the gulf from Harvey.
Target Species:

Dolphin and kingfish
