Mahi-mahi starting to show up

Capt. Quinton Dieterle
June 2, 2022
Key Biscayne - Saltwater Fishing Report

Mahi-mahi starting to show up, It has been slow up to the last couple days but it looks like some fish are starting to show up. We've had a couple bigger fish the last couple weeks but not a lot of schools yet. We should start to see the smaller fish pushing to the north and that's a good sign the season is beginning. We're expecting to see more and more of the smaller fish in the next couple weeks. On the edge we are catching a few selfish and some nice size kings occasionally. It seems like the black fin tuna season has pretty much come to an end, we are only catching one here and there now.

Key Biscayne Fishing Forecast:

Expecting more and more mahi-mahi in the next few weeks and less fishing on the edge

Target Species:

Mahi-mahi and some Kingfish
