Brisk Winds Push Dolphin Close to Edge

Yes, I was out of town, but the Cutting Edge was fishing and Capt. Neil Was at the Helm. He reported to me that the fishing was good but the seas have been choppy. Dolphin was the Target species most of the week. They caught at least 40 each day and on most trips more than that. He said the fish have been in 400 to 600 ft. and chasing flying fish. Hawks have been locating the schools for him. Some schools he noted were also located on Bonito Birds in 600 ft. The fish have been in the 4 to 6 pound range with a few larger fish thrown in.

On the edge the sailfish are still around, Saturday he caught one with only a hour invested. Black fin tuna has been also biting kite baits on the edge.

:::::: The high seas have kept most boats at the dock. We arrived Saturday after 2 and a half days of pounding our way accross the ocean and decided to throw in the white flag and wait a week for the conditions to improve. So I flew home and am back for a week, so if you want to get out we now have days available here on the CUTTING EDGE> this week. If we don't get out there are plenty of minor repair to be done.
