Miami and Key Biscayne – offshore

Capt. Quinton Dieterle
November 2, 2001
Key Biscayne - Saltwater Fishing Report

Wild Weather

The weather has slowed us down just a bit the last couple of days, to say the least. Wednesday we got out and found the seas a bit high. But we had some reel vikings and managed to find 12 nice dolphin on a couple of floaters in 150 to 200 ft. of water. We kited fished for a few hours with no sailfish activity. The current was moving south and that alone most likely was the cause of the lack of sailfish action.I should improve after the next attack of weather. The bait fishing was good and the water did look OK> I'll touch base as soon as the weathr improves.
