Miami and Key Biscayne – offshore

Capt. Quinton Dieterle
February 19, 2002
Key Biscayne - Saltwater Fishing Report

Rough

Today was a bit on the rough side and that would have been OK if the fishing was better. We did raise a Double header sailfish right away and caught one after one pulled the hook. We had a few kings cut off the baits and that was it for a AM half. The other boats did not do any better except for a couple that were fishing by 8 Am. ( Tide Change)

The fish were in 120 ft and the Current was very light to the north, Up north and slack to the south. The water was blue and looked good. The fish were traveling in pods, most boats saw multibles. Fishing should be good tomarrow and we will be fishing, let you know soon how it was.

Tight Lines
