Key Biscayne - Saltwater Fishing Report

Some Dolphin Left
Today started off slow, lots of looking and not much finding. We started off looking for Dolphin in the area of 300 ft. The day before we caught some nice ones on floaters. Today we could not find any so we hit the edge. This was not a good idea. We fished for about an hour with only one mackerel, cero. No sailfish today but we did see several yesterday that found away to get away. They were in 110 ft. of water south of fowey. So after a wasted hour, we headed back offshore, this time we knew it was do or die. We hate to die! Well some hard looking finally paid off. We found several pallets and boards before finding a piece of cardboard. It had 8 or 9 big schoolies which we boated to ease the smell of scunk out of the boat. So with a nice bunch of fish we headed back toward the dock, we decided to troll the wire with the wahoo rig on it and before I could tell the customers how it works we caught a 35 pound fish. A really nice Wahoo.
So after all the half day went well. Some nice fish and some well deserved weather.
The over all fishing outlook should start to improve.
Were really excited about another season on the Cutting edge which is about to begin, and hope you all are a part of it.
