Capt. Quinton Dieterle

Key Biscayne - Saltwater Fishing Report

Bait Migration

Reports of mullet and sardines up and down the coast are starting to make things exciting. A cold front that pushes through today should start the rods a bending. I can hardly wait. I Has been to long of a summer and I am ready to see those sailfish jumping behind the Cutting Edge. Yesterday was the first day I really consentrated on the edge and we Caught a Sailfish 10 nice kings and a few muttons. The cool thing was the sailfish was only about 10 pounds. I saw it chasing the sardine around for around 5 minutes before he caught catch it. I think it wore out the sailfish. Anyways things are looking good for the weekend and next week. If you have been waiting for the action to begin I think it is time. Call me soon to book up the weekend and next week. Thanks Quinton
