Miami and Key Biscayne – offshore

Capt. Quinton Dieterle
November 10, 2002
Key Biscayne - Saltwater Fishing Report

Sailfish show up

Sailfish on Saturday made a showing along the south east coast. We fished on the Cutting Edge on Saturday morning and saw one and caught two. We also caught a few nice kings. The other boats fishing saturday also did see some fish but I think we had the best luck. We were fishing with live speedo's and large sardines. The fish were all caught in 133 ft. The kings were in the same depth. The wrecks have not begun to yeild any nice fish yet but that should change in the next couple of days. The weather was fantastic this weekend, a slight northeast breeze made it a great day for kite fishing. The cutting edge is running great again after rebuilding the motors. Anyways, if you want to fish with us the next couple of days are available.
