Capt. Quinton Dieterle
February 25, 2003
Key Biscayne - Saltwater Fishing Report

Red Hot

"Today was another day to remember on the Cutting Edge. Started off with 3 Dolphin on a Hawk, only five minutes into the day. Next we dropped on the Sir Scott to catch only a amberjack and a cuda. Then we we off to find something that looked good. We ran south and found some blue water and Current and set up the kites. First two baits out and it was Dolphin, schoolies chased up the baits and we caught 30 on the spinners. Nice Start! Next we decided to take a run south to find nicer water. On the way a free jumper turned into the first sailfish of the day. A So with 30 dolphin a sailfish a cuda and an amberjack in the boat already we decided to try the kites. A few more Dolphin and then a sailfish. Thats the way it went all day. We ended up with 6 sailfish 50 Dolphin and well the jack and cuda. It was a great day and alot of fun. The action was all south of the Becon.
