Miami and Key Biscayne – offshore

Capt. Quinton Dieterle
February 2, 2004
Key Biscayne - Saltwater Fishing Report

Sailfishing Hot Yesterday

Yesterday may have looked bad in the morning, but in the afternoon it looked great, and was. We started off on the wrecks dropping for a grouper, big amberjacks was it. But big it was 85 pounds one went.

Then the kites went up, for about 30 minutes nothing but Houndfish,so I made the move to the north. Good Thing, first we caught one out of a double, it ate the short bait a sardine and a pilchard on the flat line. So we had the one, next I saw a Shower of bait in about 70 ft. we ran in and tossed out the baits, Bingo they were on everything, I even caught one. That ended up a triple out of who knows how many were out there. I saw at least 7. So it ended up a great day of fishing.

We are booked this week but do have some days next week if you want to get out.
