Cutting Edge excitement

Today luck fell into our arms again. With reports of slow fishing we headed out to the edge in search of anything that might be of interest. In my mind the target species was going to be Sailfish and Dolphin. As we headed off the edge I noticed that the current was moving north and the water was nice and blue. A change from the past couple of days, when there was no current and the water had been green. The first thing I found was a hawk on the water, it produced a nice dolphin in the 10 pound range. A sailfish raced by but while fighting the dolphin never had the time to get a bait to him. As I motored the Cutting Edge south I noticed the current was slowing, just as I was going to move back to the north I found another hawk. It was the mother load. We caught a nice bunch of big dolphin ranging from 8 to 10 pounds, and ended up catching 38 fish. Not bad for day in February. Next as running north I spotted a tailer and tossed a live pilchard to him. That was to tasty to pass by for Mr. Sailfish. After a long battle our angler was successful. The sailfish was released alive.
