Key Biscayne - Saltwater Fishing Report

Sailfishing still going
There was an exception Catch made this week by Robert Johnson. Fishing a live pilchard on 20 spinning tackle, he caught a 178 pound Mako Shark. He was fishing of fowey light. What a catch!
He was fishing on his boat with friends.
Other news, Sailfishing has been good, most of the action off Key Biscayne, and south. The bite has been spread out through the day and best late. Dolphin have been spotted off the key in around 400 ft. in some scattered grass but are tough to get to bite. A few kings on the edge and a bottom fish here and there make up the day. Bait is tough but you can get it. Most of the common spots are producing.
Tight lines
