Key Biscayne - Saltwater Fishing Report

Yesterday conditions started to improve, and the north current picked up. The water was blue, and it seemed like some more bait in the area. The wind was blowing about 10 kn in the morning, so we were able to fly the kites with live thread and hearing. It took a little bit, but we did catch a Sailfish within the first hour, and then another one. Right before we head in we caught another sailfish approximately 5 pounds. We also had an counter with a large amberjack. We caught on our light bottom rod, which fought for approximately 30 minutes. When we came out of the afternoon, we expected to sell Fishing to be good again, but we had no ssilfishbites, but did encounter some large blackfin tuna. That pretty much rapped up the day.

Key Biscayne Fishing Forecast:

As spring approaches, we'll be catching more blackfin, tuna, and Sailfish.
