Key Biscayne - Saltwater Fishing Report

Sailfish mahi and king fish still prevail off Miami and Key Biscayne but the action has slowed a bit. I'd like to continue by saying the fishing was Red Hot as it was the last few weeks but the last couple days everything has slow down. We have had the same weather pattern for over a week now but I do expect with the next cold front everything to pick back up again. It looks like the bait is plentiful and if we get a little north currents with some north wind I think the sailfish will start pushing into our area again in the following few days. The Sailfish we are catching are decent size and we are catching fishing off the kite. Most of the mahi we are catching trolling in 200 to 500 feet. And the king fish are usually being caught while we are kite fishing in 100 to 200 feet

Key Biscayne Fishing Forecast:

I expect Fishing to pick up as the next cold front pushes through there's plenty of bait in our area which indicates the Sailfish should move in and hang out for a little bit. The north wind also should drive the dolphin or mahi-mahi up to the edge where we will be catching them off at Kite

Target Species:

Sailfish kingfish mahi-mahi
