Key Biscayne - Saltwater Fishing Report

Yesterday fishing off miami started off Fast with a school of 10 to 12 pound dolphin coming up behind the boat while we were setting up the kites. So as you can imagine the mess we had with the kites half out and 10 big dolphin popping up at the same time. But, we did well in catching 6 of the fish, and they were all nice size. Then as the action slowed the Kingfish started eating everything, good for action. We caught about 8 fish for the afternoon, but had steady action with cut offs ext. Finally with about 30 minutes to go a sailfish popped up on the flat line, we needed this fish for a fishing show the customers on the boat were filming so it worked out great. Most of the action was off fowey light and south. All in around 100 to 120 ft of water.
There is alot of bait in the area now, Sardines, threadfins and pilchards
Tight Lines
Key Biscayne Fishing Forecast:
