Yellowtail bite

Capt. Quinton Dieterle
August 12, 2021
Key Biscayne - Saltwater Fishing Report

With the slowing mahi fishing and not much else to do we turn to the Ralph. It's been a while since I've seen the yellowtail bite as good as it has been. We were averaging about 12 yellowtail an hour but you had to fish them hard and you had to fish and fast. The sharks are horrendous so you catch about one out of every four bites but if you continue on you can get a nice catch. We're hoping that The mahi bite turns on here later in the month. In other news there have been a few sales on the edge a few kings and if you're looking to shark fish the shark fishing has been really good.

Key Biscayne Fishing Forecast:

It's looking like the reef fishing should continue to be good with increasing chance is the mahi fish it might turn on. Also on the edge there's a good chance wahoo fishing should increase and possibly a few more sails.
