Key Largo Muttons and Kings

Capt. Ryan Van Fleet
January 22, 2018
Key Largo - Saltwater Fishing Report

Off Tavernier and Key Largo the Mutton Snappers are chewing very well in the cold, the but the trick is finding an area where the sharks are not eating them up!

King Fish off Davis and Croaker Reef continue to provide good action. If you have Green Egg, try cooking some fresh King on it and taste the difference. The "Egg" turns water into wine when it comes to fish.

Patch reefs continue to provide some of the best winter Mangrove Snapper fishing I have seen in years, on the falling tide these fish are chewing. Cero Mackerel are providing some great action as well.

Sailfish have been chewing pretty good for all that have been targeting them.
