Key West and Lower Keys

Capt. Dexter Simmons
August 3, 2001
Key West - Saltwater Fishing Report

Tropical Weather!

Barry, et al, keeps us indoors and off the flats. Fortunately for the Keys, it was a Tropical Wave and not a Tropical Storm when it came through here. Nevertheless, we have had steady rain for most of this week, and little fishing! While we are stuck indoors, it is a good time to clean and lubricate tackle, tie flys, and remember some great fishing action that we have had this past spring and this summer to date. Grand Slam fishing will continue when the weather clears....Before you travel to the Keys for some great Grand Slam Fishing, call Capt. Dexter Simmons for a LIVE FISHING REPORT 305-745-3304. Tight Lines and Happy Fishing!
