Fall Bonefish and Permit Action Heats Up!
October 28, 2004Permit on fly is a special catch, but to do it your first day fishing for them is very special.

Bonefish right off of our line! Then, during the last hour of the day, we had a shot at a team
grand slam for the Sharps, but the baby Tarpon just wouldn't eat.Also, we had some other great Bonefishing action with Tim Boyd casting on FlatsMaster.Tim loves to pursue the Bones on the flats at dusk when the fish

"FlatsMaster" in THE CAGE gives anglers additional height and stability so they may easily spot fish in the clear, shallow waters of the Keys. October, November, December and January are generally great months to catch Big Bonefish, Permit, and baby Tarpon. So plan your trip now.

by Louis Eagle, will be laid up around the Keys waters through July and August.Permit are available all summer and fall here in the Keys.
Bonefish will be schooling and tailing all over the grass flats at sunrise and sunset as the water temps rise to the mid to high 80's. Fall Bonefishing is widely regarded as the best here in the Keys.
