The Winds are Back

Capt. Eric Evans
March 27, 2017
Key West - Saltwater Fishing Report

The winds are back!!! Unfortunately, it has been a couple of weeks of bad weather squeeezing in trips when we can. The good news is the weather has started to improve again.

The offshore fishing has been picking back up with more blackfin tuna and more sailfish moving through. It is that time of year again where we should start seeing more and more sails coming.

On the wrecks, the amberjack and snappers are still biting. Reef fishing is still good with a consistent yellowtail bite with muttons and groupers being caught on the bottom. The backcountry is still good for sharks and snappers and the tarpon bite has picked up.
