Windy week.

Capt. Eric Cline
January 19, 2012
Key West - Saltwater Fishing Report

Fishing in Key west this week felt a lot like work, with winds in the mid 20's through the weekend. If you could brave the sea there were a variety of fish biting. Large schools of Bonita feeding in Hawks channel with diving birds above them. A few Sails and Dolphin caught under frigates on the color change in about 200ft. A endless bite of flag Yellowtail in a 120ft just west of the Vandenburg. The big news was the amount of Kingfish starting to show up offshore this week, it was quanity over quality however. Now its midweek the winds are gone the sky is blue and I am ready to get back out there!
