Kissimmee Chain - Freshwater Fishing Report

Kissimmee Chain
9/1/11

With water temperatures around 87 degrees and little rain this week. Took 4 dutch guys from Holland caught 34 bass up to 6lbs. Fish early in the morning or late in the evening. Shiner fishing has been excellent on the Kissimmee Chain this week. Look for off shore grass beds in 6 -8 ft. of water using wild shiners free lined. When they stop biting move around to find them again. Look for activity with schooling fish catch them with top waters and soft jerk baits under the schools use plastic worms in watermelon red and june bug carolina rigged. Top water in the morning.

Great Fishing!
