Guided Bass Trips on Lake Toho, Florida
On November 2nd and 3rd I had the priveledge of taking Bill Millwood and his son Billy on a guided bass fishing trip on famous Lake Toho south of Orlando. The season here is beginning to change from the hot summer conditions. We had cloudy and cooler weather both days.
The fishing was wonderful. Day one produced 13 bass with the largest weighing 6lbs 14 oz. Day two produced almost identical results with 15 bass with the largest weighing 7lbs 2 oz. What is most impressive about Lake Toho is the consistent quality of the fish along with their photogenic appearance which makes for some great photographs. These fish should also begin to put on more weight as we near the winter season and bigger fish become more common.
I highly recommend the use of wild golden shiners for best results as the water continues to cool. Artificial only trips can be productive on the right day if you are a seasoned angler.
For both a relaxing and productive day of bass fishing on legendary Lake Toho, be sure to check out my site at www.guidedbasstrips.com and give me call to book your trip.
Good fishin'

Lake Tohopekaliga Fishing Forecast:

The next few months will bring more opportunities for trophy sized largemouth bass as the water cools and the females take on weight prior to the spawning season. The hydrilla will also be thinning out due to scheduled spraying and the natural thinning out from decreased daylight and cooler water. This will allow more access to areas of the lake that are currently choked off. Bottom line...access to more and bigger bass!!!
Target Species:

Trophy Largemouth Bass
