Orlando Trophy Bass Fishing with Florida Bass Adventures

Capt. Steve Boyd
October 22, 2008
Lake Tohopekaliga - Freshwater Fishing Report

The bass fishing in the Orlando area is right ahead of schedule thanks to much cooler weather that is keeping temperatures in the low 80's. The water levels on all Orlando lakes is above average for this time of year but has helped to bring cleaner/cooler water that was much needed.

Right now my clients are enjoying some great bass fishing on Lake Toho which is just South of Orlando. The weather changes are causing the bass to move daily so knowing the seasonal patterns for Lake Toho bass is crucial.

Today, my clients boated over 15 bass with two coming in over 5lbs all on artificial lures. The wind has been blowing 15-20 mph but the bass are still biting if you know where to find them.
