Fall in the Air

Capt. Pete Matson
November 8, 2009
Lake Walk-in-Water - Freshwater Fishing Report

11/4/09

With fall weather arriving in Central Florida and cooler temperatures beginning the fish bite is a little better. The artificial bite is good on Walk in Water and Lake Istopoka. Toho and Kissimmee Chain are good as well but fish are a little smaller. Flukes, sinkos and 10 in. worms in watermellon red and junebug on Walk in Water and Istopoka on Toho Kissimmee junebug is better. Fish are averaging a little larger on Walk in Water and Istopoka flipping and pitching some fish up to 8 lbs. with Toho and Kissimmee Chain averaging about 3 lbs. Shiner fishing is a little slower because of the cover the fish are in, but when you get one it is usually a good one. Still have plenty of openings for November!

Great fishing!
