Little Torch Key - Saltwater Fishing Report

While parts of the country are battling snow, ice, blizzards and other winter weather conditions.. It was been a very pleasant winter here in the Florida Keys.
Our first real cold front was on Tuesday.
Temperatures are currently back in the high 70's
YAY!!
Warmer water temperatures, give us the chance to fish for permit, tarpon and bonefish.
How ever there are lots of other fish to target this time of year.. Trout, ladyfish, redfish, jacks, cudas and sharks are all fun too!
Lots of redfish in the back country this winter. Redfish are more tolerant of cooler water temperatures
Winter time is barracuda time.. Barracuda fishing is a blast! They are faster then a bonefish and can jump higher then a tarpon.

Little Torch Key Fishing Forecast:

Speaking of tarpon.. It is almost that time.. In another month or so the front runners of the tarpon migration will start to appear in the lay up basins on the warmer days. I CAN'T WAIT! Neither can my regular anglers. I have been getting inquires and bookings daily, now that the holidays are over.. Still have days available for this tarpon season..
Target Species:

Tarpon, permit, bonefish, redfish, barracudas, jacks, sharks, lady fish and sea trout
