Some great fishing!

Capt. Jack Carlson
February 26, 2010
Marathon - Saltwater Fishing Report

The bottom bite has been great for the big mutton snapper. We filmed a tv show the other day and my angler Todd "Rudy" Childress landed some big amberjacks on the butterfly jigs and a 20 pound mutton snapper. The reef has been alive as all get out with fish on every cast! The cobias are on the Oceas side as well. we caught 5 all together and 2 were over 50 pounds!! We have March 9, 10 and 11th open if you want to get out there! You can follow me up to the moment on my Two Conchs facebook fan page. Become a fan!!

Marathon Fishing Forecast:

The dolphin will start to show up and the permit will be moving onto the Oceanside wrecks too. There is a Permit tournament March 12th and 13th!! Check it out at www.bigtimetournaments.com
