Marco Island - Saltwater Fishing Report

The inshore and backcountry fishing around Naples and Marco island has remained hot! There have been small tarpon rolling around the deep backcountry creeks. Live bait(pilchards/mullets ) has been the ticket to getting theses summer time fish to eat. Snook are in abundance closer to the beaches where there has been a good flow of bait and current. I have been looking for birds congregating on a shore lines & I make sure to fish that area thoroughly. These snook have been all sizes so be ready for that big one to blow up on your bait and make a hard run to any structure that is near. Tighten up that drag and hold on !!!!! Go get M
