Summer Slam

Capt. Matt Hoover
June 18, 2019
Marco Island - Saltwater Fishing Report

Fishing has been nothing less than spectacular this past month. Snook, redfish, trout, and tarpon have been willing participants.
My clients have been catching all of these species on live shrimp, shiners, jigs and flies for the past month. I have been also fishing for sharks with cut bait. Tarpon have been in the mix as well with this method.
Depending on the tide, the front of islands, the middle, and even back bays have been very productive. Jacks, ladyfish, and mangrove snapper have been filling in the gaps.
There are slots open throughout the summer to book a trip. Give us a call. I'll see you on the water.
