Matlacha - Saltwater Fishing Report

Well, It's been an extremely long time since my last report. My guide business has boomed since my last report and I let my reporting fall off the radar. But Here we go.
WIth the warm waters of October and cool fronts that will start to move down will create quite a bit of feeding frenzies. Reds have been biting on cut bait like crazy this last week or two. This last weeks tide has been great for my boat but it is a good outgoing tide of a morning. WHich means get to a spot with good current and soak some mullet or ladyfish or cut pins. The scent will drift down and the reds will come to it. If you use ladyfish you chances of snook greatly increase as well.
Reds and Ponpano have been cruising the flats just be sure if you dont have a shallow running boat to get off the flats before the water gets to low.
Check out and like my Facebook https://www.facebook.com/jimbocharters/ and Instagram #jimboscharters page for recent pictures and trips. If you're ready to go fishing give me a call to plan your trip so we can try and catch the tides right. If you're a Disabled/ Retired Veteran or first responder I have discounts for you if you ask for it. I'm also on Facebook at Jimbo's Charters where I post pictures if my clients let me and my website www.Jimboscharters.com and my You tube channel I am slowly building https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCGhDg-V7oR-ex6W-5ztwLAQ
Also, if you see me out there say Hi. I am a friendly guy that likes to help. Just don't ask for a pin point location, but I will tell you what I am catching fish on.
