Matlacha - Saltwater Fishing Report

2 Sep 14 Out fishing today with Wounded Warrior Anglers founder David Souders fishing Matlacha Pass. Started around 7:45 this morning on the top of high tide and had nothing but catfish until the tide started moving good. Using cut bait and or whole pins we started getting the bites and catching the fish half way through the outgoing tide. Ending the day only keeping one Red 27" 6.86 lbs for dinner this evening. But we did have several 38inch plus snook break us off and caught several under size snook before it was time to get off the water. Good luck to y'all and tight Lines!
