August doldrums

Capt. Bruce Burnette

Miami - Saltwater Fishing Report

Here we are in the month of August and all the heat.Fishing here in Miami has been fair with tons of bonitos along the edge with some decent kingfish mixed in.Some nice muttons have also been reported. Dolphin fishing has been hit or miss with a few schoolies and some gaffers. Next month we should get a nice run of big dolphin looking for a snack. There have also been a few swordfish caught during the day out in 1600ft. on the bottom. We will be looking forward to the fall migration of bait which will be making it's way down the coast. Last but not least some cobias have been taken along with some almacos and amberjacks and some dinosaur barracudas. thanks for reading our report and check us out @ decktechsportfishing.com.Tight Lines!
