Miami - Saltwater Fishing Report

The Blue Waters crew is delighted to fish our veterans returning from the wars of Iraq and Afghanistan. We were booked to fish a veteran with a service dog - a lovable golden retriever. The dog is trained to detect any bouts of equilibrium before they occur and alert the owner to sit. Luckily the ocean was calm and the team had a wonderful time entertaining Doug with several types of trolling fishes from kingfish, skipjack tunas and more.

When the fish were boated, the dog checked them as if to give his seal of approval. The action was steady and Doug had a good time distracted from his day-to-day medical issues. Back at the dock, everyone enjoyed taking pictures with Doug, the fish and the loving work dog. We were sorry to see the team leave and wished them well on their path to recuperation.
