Miami - Saltwater Fishing Report

The Springtime action has really kicked into high gear.

Offshore it's been a variety of fish that include sailfish,

bonito, and wahoo. During a trip last week we hooked a large wahoo that got sharked. The piece we got weighed in at 62 1/2 pounds. All the different techniques have produced fish.

Inshore waters are ruled by the mighty tarpon. The action has been producing 2 - 4 shots per 4 hour evening trip. On several trips, the sharks have given us problems with our hooked fish.

I've had numerous trips both offshore and evening tarpon. I don't want to leave anyone out so I won't list individual trips as I normally would. The four attached images are just a teasing of all the action we've had during those trips.

We are now into the month of May. That means that the large blackfin tuna action will get hot any day now. On a blackfin tuna trip we fish during the late afternoon up until dark. What it means for you is that you can sleep in, have a leisurely morning, and then fish hard and still get home and have plenty of time to go out that evening. The big reward is fresh tuna to sear and enjoy.

The best way to experience the fishing action for yourself is to call or email me to book a trip.
