This kid is on fire!

Capt. Mo Estevez

Miami - Saltwater Fishing Report

I decided to reschedule my Sunday charter and I felt much better but I was back to work today with Jeff, Drew and Will. So far Drew has been on fire catching his first snook and bonefish on our last few trips and today was no different. Tarpon was first on the list but they were definitely MIA today compared to the decent numbers we saw on Friday. After the failed Tarpon mission I took them to an area where the fishing has been good and there has been a surprise for some of my anglers but I didn't tell them this. All three guys were busy catching nice yellow jacks, horse eye jacks, look downs, snappers and then Drew struck again as the surprise materialised in the way of a nice fight and a silver flash next to the boat. Drew got his first permit! In the end the fishing was so good the guys smoked through 120 baits. At the same spot we hooked three black tip sharks but they got off and the day ended on the flats going another 0-2 on lemon sharks.
