Long Overdue

Capt. Bouncer Smith
August 13, 2015
Miami - Saltwater Fishing Report

We have had a lot of lousy reasons for not filing a report. But, we are back.
Lately the mahi fishing has been great about 15 miles offshore. There have been some fabulous weed lines full of a variety of mahi sizes.
Along the reef we finally caught 4 nice kingfish among the bonitos on the last trip. Planers with Drone spoons have been a lot more productive than live bait fishing.
We tried for swordfish Tuesday night. We had 4 squids destroyed by what seemed to be swordfish, but they never tried to eat the squid.

Miami Fishing Forecast:

Look for swordfish, snook, wahoo and cubera snapper to get fired up on the full moon in a couple weeks.
