Miami Dolphins Tournament - 3rd Place

Capt. Carlos Mendez
June 6, 2017
Miami - Saltwater Fishing Report

We've been fishing with the Sinnick family from Chicago for many years. Year after year, they would come down and fish the Miami Dolphins fishing tournament - we've even won this tournament together in the past. Sadly, the family lost a college aged son since the last time they visited Miami and this year's tournament was an emotional one as they celebrated the life of one of their boys.

We secured bait during the preceding week in preparation of this tournament. While the majority of the boats went offshore looking for dolphin, we decided to stay on the reef and fish for kingfish and tunas. Our plan was to capitalize on what had been producing recently. Our plan resulted in success and a third place finish in the Miami Dolphins fishing tournament - missing second place by a single pound.

Miami is a world-renowned fishing destination and we are a world-class fishing charter operation. Whether its kite fishing for record number of sailfish or deep dropping for monster swordfish; it takes great boats and great captains to successfully fish these waters day after day. Our boats and captains consistently give anglers of all skill levels the best opportunities to catch quality fish. We pride ourselves on having the cleanest fleet of fishing vessels and most courteous crews.
