Felipe M wanted to take good advantage of the great tarpon action that is taking place now as it is one fish that he loves to catch. With that in mind, he got his wish last night as well as a prized bonus fish too.
We started with a mutton snapper that was released. Then when the appointed time came, we caught 2 tarpon. We made a move and it put us on some great tarpon action on almost every drift. Two more tarpon caught and released.
Then came the bonus fish in the form of a permit.
The next and last drift of the evening had us hooked up with another tarpon. This time the hook pulled as we were catching up to the fish.
