Miami - Saltwater Fishing Report

Finally, after weeks of windy weather, it looks like we are finally going to get a break in the weather. Despite the windy weather, the fishing has been very good. We've been catching more that our share of sailfish, kingfish, bonitos, and other assorted bottom fish.

Most of the fish are being caught on threadfin herring fished under kite. Other fish have fallen for a well presented flat line or bottom bait. We've been getting the boat and tackle ready for this season and all is good to go.

The bait pens are stocked with frisky live baits for the upcoming weekend. We still have open dates in November and even some openings this coming Veterans Day weekend. Speaking of veterans, I would like to take a moment to thank each and every one of you for your service to our great country.
We'll that's pretty much it for right now. Please don't forget to get out and cast your vote.
Tight Lines,
Capt. Orlando Muniz
