Night tarpon going strong

Capt. Bob LeMay
December 3, 2010
Miami - Saltwater Fishing Report

Don't have time to post a full report (since I'm going to be doing this for three more nights I'll have a full report on Monday or Tuesday - with pics) but the night time tarpon scene is going strong. Last night in Biscayne Bay my angler jumped seven fish in only four hours and worked two or three to the boat on a 9wt. Conditions are marginal, winds blowing out of the north, but we saw lots and lots of fish to toss our flies at.... The fish ranged from 20 to almost 30lbs - the larger ones just took us to school. This is just the beginning of the winter night tarpon scene, they'll be pretty much available now every night until the end of April.... small tarpon heaven.
