Offshore Fishing Good off Miami

Capt. Ralph Mayans
June 10, 2013
Miami - Saltwater Fishing Report

We had a great day of fishing off Miami. We headed out trolling ballyhoos on top, also subsurface behind a pair of planners and we also added a pair of spoons to the spread. It was a cloudy morning and we found a nice edge in 340 ft. of water. As soon as we started working the rip, it took no time at all to get the first bite - a nice mahi-mahi on the left long ballyhoo. We kept working that edge and produced two really nice wahoo. So as expected with the season, the fishing is heating up off Miami Beach.
