Fishing North Biscayne

Fishing in North Biscayne Bay continues to be great. Lots of bait on the flats and channels with Snook, Tarpon, Sharks, Trout, Barracudas, Ladyfish, Mackeral and Jack Crevalles of all different sizes being caught.

10/21/03 Chris, Peter and Chick caught and released 4 Snook to 30"s, Speckled Sea Trout to 3lbs., Barracudas and Jack Crevalles on 6 to 8lb. spin and live pilchards freelined and fished under a Cajun Thunder.

10/20/03 Pat Sunman and his girlfriend Karen fishing in Flamingo fought an 80lb. Tarpon on 8lb.spin using a Hook Up lure and a Saltwater Assassin worm for 45 minutes before the line broke. Later Pat landed a 40lb. Cobia on 12lb. spin using a PinFish under a Cajun Thunder. They also caught many Trout, Jacks, Ladyfish and Sharks.
