Miami - Saltwater Fishing Report

September Winds
Stop the wind!!!!! We thought we would bring ya’ll up to date on the fishing action. We went fishing last Wednesday for 4 hours late in the afternoon. We had no luck with wreck fishing, but caught 5 snook up to 20 pounds at the inlet. Oh, that was on a borrowed boat as Bouncer’s Dusky 33 was in storm storage. Well that is all the fishing we have done since August 31st.
The few boats that have fished report good action. Lots of sailfish, mutton snapper, king mackerel and some Spanish mackerel. We have a lot of day trips available over the next several weeks and the boat is back at Miami Beach Marina.
We will be doing our swordfish seminar on October 14th at Dusky Sport Center. Admission is ten dollars and includes a ten dollar gift certificate for use in the store. The seminar is from 6:30 to 8:30 PM, but the store will be open all day, so come in early. You can get information at 954-922-8890.
There are some great fish to be caught over the next few months and a lot less boats on the water. The weather will be cooler as well. Let’s get out and enjoy this great fishing season. E-mail me at [email protected] or call 305-945-5114 to talk about or plan a trip.
