Miami - Saltwater Fishing Report
Well this report will be a little bit short, but I'm getting ready to go over to the Bahamas for some wahoo fishing. The weather for tommorow looks good, and it seems that the wahoo bite in Bimini hasn't been to bad. There were a couple of fish over 70 pounds caught in the last two days, and most boats had at least two to three wahoo per day. Thisis mostly high speed trolling with lures, which we will do in the morning, and then do some live bait fishing on the edge. I let everyone know how we did.
The fishing in Miami has been decent. The wind picked up quite a bit during mid week, but has been calming down since Thursday. Everyday we fished we had at least two shots at sailfish per day, and caught most sailfish we hooked. The kingfish have also been biting, although we are not getting as many fish per day, they seem to be bigger. Most of the kings have been caught on the deep rod in depths of 130 - 200 ft of water. We also caught a cobia this week as well as dolphin.
