Miami - Saltwater Fishing Report
The best treat in the world is getting offshore in the early morning, finding the birds diving, and catching dolphin and tunas under those birds. To this end, the Blue Waters 2 is giving an extra hour free for the morning trips. This offer helps catch the first light and first bite offshore. Also, we are offering free beverages - yes even adult beverages - for free!!
The bite has been 6 to 9 miles offshore under diving birds or out of the blue. Casting pilchards has been very effective to start the bite, with chunks on spin tackle to work the schools. Trolling has also been effective with the ballyhoo, and mylars leading the pack in bites.
The third reef has also become active. We're seeing some large bomber bonitas and a few kingfish on the troll when returning from further offshore.
