Our Weather is the Envy of the Country

Capt. John Barker
November 26, 2018
Miami - Saltwater Fishing Report

It may be November, but the temperature is in the 80's and the sunny skies are clear and inviting. Our half day trips have been fun with larger single dolphin (mahis) only a few miles offshore. Mixed in with the dolphin, have been some nice blackfin tunas and common bonitas.

On the morning trip, the trolling action was just getting started when the planner rod cracked and the fight was on. A nice 20'ish pound wahoo was on the line. Our gentleman angler did a fine job and the fish was boated! A few more action kingfish and bonitas added to the action, but the group was most impressed by the wahoo's teeth and strength.
