Mosquito Lagoon - Saltwater Fishing Report

If you are a little chilly up in your neck of the woods you need to come to Florida.
Not only have the days been pleasant but the fishing has been red hot. Trout fishing has been good when the moon is not shining on the water all night. Redfish have been schooled up with catches near the fifty inch mark are common. Gulp baits in shrimp shapes are doing the trick along with the Berkley Power bait Jerk Shad. We took almost fifty trout in about two hours of fishing with many keepers in the mix. Gulp Gulp Gulp is all you need.
Big trout are on the flats in the sand.
Sheepshead are at the rocks at Ponce Inlet and along the intercostals waterway.
Small crabs and shrimp will get you a few of these jailbirds.
Black drum should be in the same aria as the sheepshead and you will probably get a few while fishing the rocks.
Pompano are feeding on Gulp shrimp that is what I caught them on any way. Real shrimp and sand fleas will do the trick as well. Whiting can be caught in the surf.
Snook are in the deeper holes at Spruce Creek seeking warmth from the chilly shallows.
But don't take any. LOL To catch fish call me and I will make sure you do. 386 314 5656
